A UNIQUE DINING EXPERIENCE

Jackrabbit’s Lair is a pop-up supper club located at a private outdoor location in Eagle Rock. At the 10-seat chef’s counter, guests will be escorted through a multi-course fine dining tasting menu that delights the palate. No two experiences will be the same, as the menu is specially curated to the season and to feature the best local ingredients.

 

THE CHEF

JACK DANIEL HOTCHKIN

Jack was raised in Newton, Iowa, where his exposure to the culinary industry began at a very early age. Jack's mother, who worked as a baker, would take him with her to work, where Jack observed the energy and intricacies of a professional kitchen. He couldn't wait to start working alongside his mother, and became a short order line cook at the age of 16.  Jack didn't just like it, he loved it, and his professional career was born.

With nearly twenty-five years of culinary experience under his belt, Jack has served as Executive Chef at The Pikey, Sous Chef at Soho House West Hollywood and Chef de Cuisine at the iconic Chateau Marmont. He is also a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu International. Now as a father of two young sons, Jack is excited to shift his focus to hosting intimate dinners where he has full freedom to create an ever-evolving experience for his diners.
